Robert Lawler, 88, formerly of Ogdensburg, NJ, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank and Hazel Lawler. The fifth of ten children he is survived by his two daughters, Kathleen Lawler of Claremont, NH and Teresa Paine of Lakewood, CA; three sons, Paul Keeser of New Jersey, Kenneth Lawler of Long Beach, CA, and Robert R. Lawler of Franklin, NJ; seven grandchildren, Richard, Paul, Stephen, Keith, Renee, Marissa, and Desiree; 14 great grandchildren and one sister Mikki Lawler of Wharton, NJ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores T. Lawler and a daughter, Patricia Van Orden. Robert was the owner and operator of Bob Lawler and Sons Mechanical Contractors through his retirement in 2005. He served with United States Navy upon the USS Philippine Sea, was an Exempt member of the Ogdensburg Fire Department and a member of the Francis M. Glynn American Legion Post #132, Franklin, NJ. He had an interest in antique cars and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
