

Scott R. Wolf, 44, of Bellflower passed away on February 20, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Shauna; children, Courtney, Tyler & Cassidy; mother, Jerilyn Dunn; brother, Michael Wolf; nieces, Megan Wolf & Mykel Wolf. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene H. Wolf Jr.
Scott graduated from Paramount High School in 1985. He went on to join the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department where he graduated from Academy Class 247 in 1988. Over the years Scott received many commendations for his dedication to his work including The Medal of Bravery. Scott had to retire in 2009 due to complications to injuries he sustained in the line of duty at the rank of Sergeant. The most important thing in Scott’s life was his children. He loved to take them camping & fishing as much as he could. What they shared the most was their time on the baseball/softball field. He spent many years coaching all three of his children and many other kids in the community. Besides coaching Scott also was an original founder of Bellflower Against Gangs and served as their first chairman. He also volunteered with the Bellflower Unified School District as President of the Citizens Task Force, Site Council & PTA over the last 14 years. Scott was a caring husband, dad and son and is going to be missed by all that knew him. He will now be Courtney, Tyler & Cassidy’s guardian Angel and forever be in their hearts. Visitation Services will be held at White’s Funeral Home on Wednesday February 29, 2012 from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10am at White’s Funeral Home 9903 Flower Street, Bellflower, Ca. Reception immediately following funeral service.
