

Vaughn passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the age of 90. He was born in Glouster, Ohio. He met his wife, Evelyn Virginia Morris, in Ohio. After they were married they moved to California. Vaughn proudly served in WWII as a bomber pilot in the Army Air Force. He was on the Downey Board of Realtors for 45 years. He loved to travel, golf and to watch football. He had a boat at Lake Havasu and liked to go fishing. Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, Ginny and 10 siblings. He is survived by his 2 sons and their wives, Terry and Pat Jones, and Denni and April Jones; brother, Dale Jones; granddaughter, Kristen; and Great grandson, Evan. He was always the life of the party, enjoying his merlot and tri-tip BBQ. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11 am at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower st., Bellflower CA. 90706
