Virginia D. Stevens passed away peacefully at her home on July 16 at the age of 92, and is now in the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ. Born on a farm in Mena, OK, on January 31, 1924, she came to California in 1944 and married Fred R. Stevens in 1945. Since Fred passed away in 1969, she has lived in various suburbs including Gardena, and for the last 30 years has resided in Bellflower. She also enjoyed visiting her condo in Palm Springs. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Janis Stevens, and her son, Benjamin Stevens; her grandchildren Andrew, Timothy and Jessica Stevens; and her sisters Delores and Carmelita. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 11:00am at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower St., Bellflower.
