Christopher Birdsell

It is with deepest sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Chris. In his 51st year, beloved husband and best friend to Denise (nee Flaherty). Dedicated father and mentor to his son, Jason. Survived by his mother, Ruby, and siblings Donna (Mark) Buck, Sharon Hughes (Keith), Larry (Sue) Birdsell, Bonnie (Fred) Howard, John (Peggy) Birdsell, Pam (Ross) Hall, Ron (Janet) Birdsell. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Anna Flaherty, and brothers/sisters-in-law Luanne, Mike (Kathy), John (Sue), Darlene (Reg), Jim (Janice) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Arthur Birdsell. Chris just celebrated his 50th birthday at Lake St. Joseph with his nephew and best friend Brad, where he caught his "trophy pike" and unlimited quantities of fish. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved fishing and boating. Chris was a member of The Legion, Branch 36, for over 25 years. He will be sadly missed by many friends. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME "SWACKHAMER CHAPEL" on Tuesday, August 20th from 7-9 p.m., and on Wednesday, August 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
