I am sorry to hear of Dave's sudden passing. I also worked with Dave for many years & could always depend on him to make us laugh, even over the past few years, when I would chat with him at Tim's in Dundas. I will still look for his truck when I go by there!!

It is with heavy hearts to hear of Daves sudden passing. Our deepest condolences to your family. I have known Dave for many years and worked with him at Thomson Metals. We put on a lot of miles together on the highway and as many off the highway. Dave always talked about his family and his passion for fishing. As you know Dave took his vacation in the fall but we knew he would just step back to let his fellow drivers get a summer break with their younger kids. What a man. While at Thomson Lorraine was our Safety Manager and she recalls Dave always giving her a hard time in class but then taking her aside to say he loved bugging her. I kept in touch with Dave while trucking down the highway for another firm. It was like I never left. I loved hearing his voice on the CB and for sure will miss it forever. I had the pleasure of working with Dave for nearly 7 years. Every morning he was the first to greet me and he always left me with a smile on my face with the stories and jokes he shared.
