Donna Christine Butler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna, on Friday May 11, 2012 at the age of 54. Surrounded by her loving family at St. Peter’s Hospital, she courageously ended her long battle with a brain tumour. Beloved wife of Tim, adored mother of Nicole (Mark), Krista , and Blair. Proud grandma of “her J’s” Jacob, Jordan, and Joshua. Dear sister to Nina, Patty , (Jana, wife of Tom), and Rob (Davina). Predeceased by her parents Donald and Agnes, and brother Tom. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Forever cherished by lots of extended family, friends and her “watch dog” Lucy. She will be remembered for her incredible strength and courage. She went through this journey with such grace, always concerned about her family, and never herself. Your spirit will live on through everyone you’ve touched. We are so proud of you mom, you won. Special thanks to Maureen, Sue, and Alana for their exceptional care in the last few months, and for the wonderful care received from Dr. Bev and the entire staff at St. Peter’s Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Friends and Family will be received at a Memorial Service in Donna’s honour at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday May 19, 2012 at 11 a.m.
