He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Gladys Belyea and will be fondly remembered by many friends and extended family.
Grant was an Engineering Graduate of Queens University. Before graduation, he was recruited by Stelco where he spent his entire career in the Metallurgy Department.
He was a lifelong music lover, he was raised to love and appreciate music. He was part of many local bands and choirs over the years. He also loved all types of animals, especially horses and pigeons.
In accordance with his wishes, a private service for friends and family and interment at Mount Zion Cemetery will take place. Arrangements entrusted to the Marlatt Funeral Home – Swackhamer Chapel, Dundas, Ontario (905) 627-7452.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Alzheimer's Society of Canada, The Nature Conservancy of Canada or charity that supports music or animals would be appreciated.
