SIMPSON, JACQUELINE MAE – died on April 3, 2017 in Hamilton; born 1935 in Windsor, Ontario to the late Jack & Blanche Halls. Sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jim, and her children David (Dee); Bruce (Christine) and Anne (Paul). Proud grandmother of Hannah, Madeline, Abbie, Luca, Lili and Georgia. She is also survived by her sisters, Jane and Judith, and her brother, Kent, along with many nieces and nephews. Jackie worked as a nurse in London and Hamilton – and credits this training as helping her work at the Simpson Law Office in Westdale for over thirty years. She was a great supporter of local theatre and the Shaw Festival, and interested in genealogy and local history. Thanks to the doctors and staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, her visiting nurses and physiotherapists, and Dr. Mike West for their care. Special thanks to her great neighbour and soup provider, Ana Campos. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family ceremony. She will be remembered by a series of social gatherings over the coming months. If you wish to commemorate Jackie, please go see a play in her memory.
