Peacefully, at Hamilton General Hospital, On Monday, September 26th, 2016, in his 91st year. Predeceased by Margaret (“Terry”), and Bess. Dear Father of Hugh (Wendy), Chris (Gina), Phil (Diane), Mike (Sandy) and Mary McFadden (Brad), and Stepfather to Bev Fry (Brian) and Frances Clark (Grant). Dear Brother of Kay Langlois and David Jones (Joanne). Doug will be sadly missed by 18 Grandchildren and by 9 Great Grandchildren. A special thank you to the Yorkville Retirement Residence Direct Care Staff, to his many friends at the residence, and to the Hamilton General Hospital 4W Treatment Team and Staff.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 195 King Street West, Dundas Ontario, on Friday, September 30th, 2016, at 2 PM, with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
