Predeceased by his parents, Emily and Tom, and son Stewart (2023). John leaves behind his wife and best friend Robin, daughter Amanda, son Graeme (Courtney), grandsons Dustin and Chace, siblings Maureen, Larry (Karin), Kathy (Stan), Christine (Paul). He will be missed by his mother-in- law Wilma, brothers and sisters-in-law Nancy, Al, Cathy, Don, along with many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
John spent his decades long career in the trucking industry, from company driver to owner/ operator, then moving up into the office, ending his career as a safety auditor. John’s passion for anything on two wheels was known by all close to him. He raced motorcycles back in the day at Shannonville and Mosport and more recently spent his time restoring vintage motorcycles, along with enjoying cycling around town and countryside.
John was known for his quick wit and sometimes zany sense of humour and we will all miss that the most.
Cremation has taken place, and as per John’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held.
