With deep sorrow we regret to announce the passing of our beloved husband and loving father. Bruce passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in his 71st year. Dear husband of Bev. Father of Jackie (Jan) Sousa, Bruce Thompson (Linda), Jim Thompson, Joe Thompson (Tammy), Brenda Bingham, Ken (Kerry) Short, Debbie Dechert, and Kim Macedo. Proud grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bruce will be sadly missed by sister Donna (John) Tweddell and several nieces and nephews. He retired as a dedicated employee of Empire Float and Crane, Grimsby.
