Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at her home on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the age of 79, with her loving husband by her side. Beloved wife of Garth for 60 years. Loving mother of Lois Skarratt (predeceased) and her husband Jim, Duff, and David (Phyllis). Cherished grandma of Ryan (Melissa), Keira, (Clinton), Jay, David (predeceased), Steven, Aaron, Matthew, Kaelan, Danielle and Carissa, and great-grandma of Ethan, Calista and Mason. Loreen is survived by her sister Eleanor Day. The Family would like to thank Miriam (PSW), Stedman Hospice and the Aberdeen Nurses for all of the compassion and care. The Family will receive friends at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195King St W., Dundas on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Marlatt Dundas Chapel on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11 am. Interment at Grove Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
