Passed away peacefully at Sherbrooke Heights in Peterborough on December 8, 2014. Predeceased by his wife Nellie. He will be missed by his children Sylvia Rae Tarifi, Lorraine Bernice Bonitatibus, Marian Dawn Harrison, Dorothy Elaine Nielson and John Douglas Nielson, as well as his 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Ray served as a Sergeant in the RCAF during WWII and had been a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Stoney Creek. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 345 HWY 8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, December 11th at 1pm with visitation in the church from 11-1pm.
