Our sincere condolences to Ruthie and the Bogle family. Have been friends with Ruth and Rita since we were at Junior Farmers together. Over the years we have enjoyed many laughs together. Rita will be sadly missed by many.

I was so sorry to hear of Rita's passing.  I have many fond memories of our years together at Strabane School.    Rita was always cheerful and warm -- a true friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rita and I became even closer friends over the past years since I returned from China. However before that we knew each other as we both worked for the Hamilton Board of Education. We had many laughs together. I will miss my friend but for her sake I am happy that the disease moved quickly as she was a happy and giving person and found it difficult to be limited....still always thinking of others and loving her family. I have many memories of Rita.  She was always ready with a smile and a greeting when we met.  Sometimes we took the same bus and sometimes in Dundas.  She had a twinkle in her eye and a delightful laugh.  She always asked how John was and how we were doing.  She attended fundraisers for Sharon Titian's work in Ghana.  Rita was one of those people who made you feel special.

I worked with Rita for a few years in the late 90's when I taught at Peace Memorial School. She was a such a nice lady and we had many interesting talks about our farming backgrounds and life out in the country.  She was also so kind and nice to everyone.  So sad to see that she had ALS and is gone so soon .  May she rest in peace and may her family all remember her fondly.

I just watched the lovely video with Rita's sweet twin and her beautiful family.
I want to commend her brother Rob for being there with Rita until her home going.
I will miss her coming into the store in Dundas and always being mindful of looking for made in Canada merchandise.  She always had wonderful integrity and was always mindful of others. I miss her already but know for sure where she is.

I will miss Rita very much. We had many deep rich conversations about the world and about God's mighty power. Rita was a blessing to all she met here in Dundas. I will remember her as a prayer worrier and  also for her love of watching her beloved baseball games.  Yes...she will be missed

Condolences to the Bogle family.  I have known Rita since Junior Farmers days. Both  girls were fun to be around. Rita enjoyed a good chat and she will sadly be missed. RIP

I remember being on the farm with the Bogle family in the summers!  Morley and Evelyn were like grandparents to us when we were kids! We always enjoyed our times helping haul in the hay, riding Sandy the horse and caring for the chickens and cows when the Bogles took a much deserved vacation.  I have always cherished my childhood memories of the Bogle farm. Rita was such a wonderful person.  Very caring and friendly to all. She always made us feel welcomed and special.  She will be missed!
