So sorry to hear this news. I remember fondly Stan's annual presentations to Flamborough Council at budget time - always accurate, always made respectfully. In addition to his many talents, he was, first and foremost, a gentleman. My condolences to his family. - Mark Shurvin, Councillor Ward 3, Town of Flamborough.

My memories of Stan are through the Ontario Eastern Bluebird Society where he as a director from 2009 to 2014. Stan provided input in the formation of our constitution and was instrumental in the society obtaining charity status. He also acted as an auditor of our books and made sure proper documentation of our income and expenses were complete. He was a stickler for getting things right. When he resigned from the board in 2014 he was given a certificate of appreciation for his services. We were richer for having known Stan. He had very productive and wonderful life and that should be celebrated. My condolences to his wife JoAnn and family. Bill Read President Ontario Eastern Bluebird Society.

Mary and I were saddened by the loss of Uncle Stan. What a wonderful person and such an amazing life. We have hundreds of great memories and were honoured by his and Aunt JoAnn's attending our son's wedding just 3 years ago. We will miss him greatly. Stan was a strong advocate for what he believed in. He was a neighbour of ours in Carlisle Flamborough Hills Community. Active as a champion for Carlisle Courtcliffe Park, Carlisle Tennis Court and of course keeping his local Councillor Judi Partridge accountable especially for local taxes and bylaw policies.  Thank you Stan for your tireless advocacy fighting for what you believed in. Our Community is better because of you. God Bless  Judi Partridge 

Stan and JoAnn are so much a part of our special memories.  They served  faithfully in many ways at St. George's and are very much an important part of our  church family. They are loved by so many.
