With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mother at the Juravinski Hospital on January 27, 2013 in her 70th year. We take comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and she is in God’s care, reunited with loved ones passed.

God’s Garden

God looked around His garden

And He found an empty place

He then looked down upon the earth

And saw your precious face

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest;

God’s Garden must be beautiful

He only takes the best

He knew that you were suffering

He knew you were in pain

He knew you’d never ever

Get well on earth again

So He closed your weary eyelids

Then He took you up to Heaven

With hands so gentle and kind

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you did not go alone

For part of us went with you

The day God called you Home.

Cherished mother of Bridgette, Larry Jr. (Karen), and Jason (Melanie). Beloved grandmother to Shayna, Connor, Evan, Olivia, and Jenni. World’s greatest great grammie to Noah. Predeceased by her parents, Stefan and Maria Alzner. Her Husband Larry “the greatest love of her life”. Her precious little angle, granddaughter Kelly Lynn Marie. Her dear friend, Willi Raskopf, and her brother in law who always made her laugh, Andy Ambrosi. Mom will be dearly missed by her sister Mary Ambrosi of Alberta, niece Linda, nephew Mark (Deb) and family, and nephew Randy (Lorri) and family, cousins Susan, Erich, Karl, Giddy and family, and Bruni and Peter and family of Canada, plus many more in Austria and Germany. Beloved aunt to Sonya and family. Dearest friend of Patti and Bill Raynor of Dundas, and many more!

Even to those who were no longer a part of mom’s life, we knew she still had a very special place in her heart for all of you.

To the nurses and doctor’s on C3, your care and compassion for mom will never be forgotten. To CCAC, VON (Mike, Kerri, Nella, and Patty), St. Elizabeth’s (Nadine and Laura), we thank you from the bottom of our hearts in helping mom with her greatest battle.

At mom’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A grave side service will be held at a later date.
