Vince was the beloved husband and best friend of Carol. They built a wonderful life and shared 45 devoted years together. He leaves behind his loving siblings, older brother Frank (Lynda) and little sister Joanne (Gary). He will be affectionately remembered by his extended family of brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and their children, and an abundance of friends. We will all miss him more than words can say.
Anyone who knew Vince was touched by his engaging personality, kindness and warmth. He lived life demonstrating a generosity of spirit, loved his family deeply, embraced the value of friendship and made everyone he met feel welcome and valued. Vince could be counted on to extend a helping hand to family and friends. Often called upon as mentor, he would listen patiently, share his experiences and provide sage advice. He could be counted on to turn chaos into calm.
In his work life, Vince started his career at Luctor Canada, quickly proving he had a talent for sales, for identifying business opportunities and in natural leadership qualities. Joining Indal Technologies in sales, his commitment and passion ultimately led to the position of President, a role he proudly held until his retirement. During his time with Indal, he travelled extensively throughout the world, met with government, private industry and naval officials and quickly developed rapports which lasted throughout his career. Other honours included designation as life member of the Navy League of the United States. Vince also served as a member of the Canadian Delegation to the NATO Industrial Advisory Group, and was the recipient of the R. J. Templin Award by the Canadian Wind Energy Association for outstanding contribution to the development of wind energy technology.
