Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Joseph’s Hospital on October 26, 2017. Beloved husband of Isobel for 64 years. Loving father to Tom (Steve), and Cindy (Craig) Wilson. Devoted Gumpy to Trevor (Karen) and Chelsea (Jason) Par, and Great Gumpy to Jackson, Georgia, Ellie, Finnley and Jase. He will be missed by his brother John (Phyllis), his nieces and nephews, and his dear friend Sarah Mooney. Ron was a conductor with CN Rail for 39 years and a longtime Royal Canadian Legion member with Branch 36, Dundas. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thankyou to the nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital 4th floor for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME FAMILY CENTRE, 195 King Street West, Dundas from 1-3pm on Sunday, November 5th. If so desired, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Ron’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
