Wilma Stronks

Passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 20th at the age of 75. Beloved wife of John Stronks for 55 wonderful years. Dearly loved by her children Ron (Nellie) Stronks, John (Gay) Stronks, Deborah (Richard) Van Egmond, Marlene (Al) Noorloos, and Carolyn (William) Zeyl. Loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Wilma will also be missed by her many siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. As a family, we mourn with thanksgiving for her sacrificial love of family, her sparkly character, and her legacy of faith and values. She was the anchor of our home, and God’s precious gift to us. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers, especially Dr. Herte and Hilda Dube, and the chemo nurses at the Cancer Centre, Bridget, RPN and Monica, PSW. Visitation will be held at the Ancaster Christian Reformed Church, 70 Garner Road West, Ancaster on Friday, November 22nd from 6-8pm and on Saturday, November 23rd from 11:45am until the Service of Thanksgiving at 1pm. Private Interment beforehand. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, or to World Renew (Philippine Project).
