
Ann Marie Ouellette, 94, of East Hartford, loving wife of the late Euclide J. Ouellette, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday (March 1, 2009) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in St. Agatha, ME on July 15, 1914, she had been a resident of East Hartford for the past fifty-three years. Prior to her retirement, Ann was employed for over fifteen years by Cape Well Manufacturing Company in Hartford. Ann was a faithful communicant of St. Rose Church, East Hartford, and will be remembered for her many afghans that she made. Along with crocheting, Ann enjoyed knitting and playing bingo. Ann is survived by two devoted sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph R. and Sheila Ouellette of New Britain, James M. and Beverly Ouellette of Glastonbury; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Lee Ouellette of Peabody, MA, Monty and Lois Ouellette in Florida; four special grandchildren, Joseph Ouellette and his wife, Amie, of China Grove, NC, James Ouellette and Michael Ouellette both of Glastonbury, Kimberly Dunlap of Rocky Hill; two adored great-grandchildren, James Hunter and Taylor; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 5, at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Rose Church, 33 Church Street, East Hartford. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park (Section 24), Elm Street, Rocky Hill. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 4 from 4-7 p.m. Ann's family asks that memorial contributions in Ann's memory be made to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
