Antionette Miceli Donofrio

Antionette (Miceli) Donofrio, 72, of East Hartford, beloved wife of 51 years of Thomas J. Donofrio, Jr., peacefully passed into eternal rest on Thursday, July 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in Hartford on December 31, 1942, a daughter of the late Alfonzo and Anna (Lucido) Miceli, she had been a resident of East Hartford for most of her life. She was a graduate of East Hartford High School and a long-time communicant of St. Mary’s Church, East Hartford. Antionette loved going to the beach and fishing and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Most of all, she took great pride in being a home maker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her three adored grandchildren.

Along with her loving husband, Thomas, Antionette is survived by a daughter, Chery Wesoloskie of Manchester; a son, James Donofrio of Central Village; and her three cherished grandchildren, Camryn Wesoloskie, Daniella Wesoloskie, Jordan Wesoloskie all of Manchester. She also leaves four sisters, Rose Pappagallo of East Hartford, Patricia Donofrio of East Hartford, Carol Capoldo of Fort Pierce, FL, Dolores Leccese of Manchester; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Besides her parents Antionette was predeceased by two brothers, Bartolo Miceli and Salvatore Miceli both of East Hartford; and two sisters, Frances Donofrio of East Hartford and Mary Seymour of Ocala, FL.

Funeral service will be Wednesday (August 5th) at 9 am from the D’ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church, Main Street/Maplewood Avenue, East Hartford.
