Daniel Lawrence Schultz, 40, of East Hartford, passed away suddenly on Monday (November 14, 2011) in East Hartford. Born in Hartford on September 17, 1971, he was the son of the late Theodore and Ruth (Shawnessy) Schultz. Daniel was a free spirit who loved the outdoors. He is survived by his brothers, John Schultz of New Britain, Theodore Schultz of Manchester, Phil Schultz of Manchester, Timothy Rivera of Hartford, Edward Rivera of Florida, Enrique Reyes of Groton, and Billy Reyes of Ellington; his sisters, Tracey Schultz, Pamela Schultz, and Bertha Schultz all of Manchester, Jessica Rivera of West Hartford and Jenny Reyes of Hamden and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Daniel was also predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Rivera. Family and friends may visit the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford on Sunday (November 20) from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 5 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
