
Edgar J. Pelletier, 74, of St. Petersburg, FL, entered into eternal rest on Thursday (March 22, 2012). He was born in New Brunswick, Canada on October 5, 1937, the son of the late Edouard ""Ned"" and Marie (Levesque) Pelletier. Edgar loved to ride his bike, travel and was an avid pool player. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a past Grand Knight. He was also a life time member of the French Social Circle in East Hartford. Edgar is survived by his sons, Richard C. Pelletier of East Hartford and Ronald J. Pelletier of Springfield, MA.; his daughters, Martha M. Geoghegan, Linda S. Pelletier, both of East Hartford and Diane C. Lagace of Glastonbury; his brother Carmel Pelletier of Hebron; his sister Berthe Kennedy of New Brunswick, Canada. He is also survived by his 8 loving grandchildren, 5 adored great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Edgar was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Pelletier of East Hartford, 2 sisters and 7 brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (April 2nd) at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 30 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford with burial to follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. There will be no calling hours and everyone is asked to please go directly to the church on Monday morning. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association , 5 Brookside Drive, P.O.
