Edward Robert Nugent Sr., 77, of East Hartford, entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly, on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home. Ed was born in Hartford and was son to the late Edward O. and Pearl (Crane) Nugent.
For many years, Ed was the owner and operator of Ed Nugent Home and Business Repair, until his retirement.
He enjoyed fishing and cooking for his family and friends.
Ed is survived by his sons; Edward R. Nugent Jr. and his wife Terry of East Hartford and Charles Nugent and his wife Nellie of Round Rock, Texas, as well as, his siblings, Thomas, Kevin, Brian, Pearl and Kathy. He also leaves 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
