

Gail F. (Galusha) Zadrozny, 56, of East Hartford loving wife of over 25 years to Henry J. Zadrozny, passed away peacefully with her caring family by her side on Tuesday (July 27, 2010) at her home. Born in Hartford on April 13, 1954, a daughter of the late Neil and Alice (Rhodes) Galusha, she had been a resident of East Hartford for the past thirty years. Prior to her retirement this past May 2010, Gail was employed as a Letter Carrier by the U.S. Postal Service in Glastonbury for twenty-five years. Gail was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Family Center #1477, East Hartford. Gail was an avid fan of NASCAR and football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, and she truly enjoyed figure skating as she would watch and attend various championships. However, most of all, Gail enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Besides her parents, Gail was predeceased by her step-mother, Mary Galusha. Along with her beloved husband, Henry, Gail is survived by her devoted daughter, Tisha D. Herzog of Tolland; a son, John M. Herzog, Jr. of Vernon; a step-son, Michael H. Zadrozny of Bolton; two step-daughters, Deborah A. Crooks and her husband, Chris, of Norfolk, MA, Leah Zadrozny of Fuquay Varina, NC; two sisters, Sharon Robbins and her husband, Peter, of Vernon, Michile Smart and her husband, Paul, of Lebanon; three brothers, Terrence Galusha and his wife, Mary, of Rocky Hill, Lawrence Galusha and his wife, Darlene, in Hawaii, Richard Galusha and his wife, Julie, of Hartford. Gail also leaves her seven adored grandchildren, Michael Herzog, Matthew Crooks, Emily Herzog, Taylor Crooks, Johnny Herzog, Kyle Puglise, and Christopher Herzog; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, dear friends, and her beloved dog, 'Taco'. Funeral services will be Saturday (July 31, 2010) at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Friday (July 30th) from 4-7 pm.
