Jean Paul Senecal

Jean Paul Senecal, 86, of East Hartford, CT beloved husband of Regina Lavoie, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 surrounded by his family's love. He was born in Nashua, NH and moved to CT where he met his true love and started his family. In addition to his loving wife, Regina, he is survived by his children, his son Michael Senecal and wife Patricia of Vernon, CT, his daughter Jane Peters and husband Craig of South Windsor, CT, his adored granddaughters, Nicole Lajoie of East Hartford, CT, Brittany Lajoie of South Windsor, CT and Katie Senecal of Vernon, CT as well as two step grandchildren, Angela Ritter and Brian Peters and their familes and loving extended family, neighbors and friends. He is the son of the late Albert Senecal and Yvonne Gignac. He is one of 3 children. He is survived by his sister Alice Elliot of Milford, CT. He is predeceased by his brother Louis Senecal & sister Florence Senecal. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and was a volunteer for Bingo at Saint Margaret Mary's Church in South Windsor, CT after retiring from the construction business. Paul loved to joke, fix things, play cards and help everyone who needed him. Paul was a devoted husband, a wonderful father and the best grandpa ever! Paul will never be forgotten and will live in our hearts forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Christopher's Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Burial will follow mass at Silver Lane Cemetery, Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT. There will be no calling hours.
