

Joanne R. (Dehler) Daley, 51, of East Hartford, loving wife of 27 years to William 'Bill'J. Daley, entered into eternal rest with her caring family by her side on Wednesday, (September 9, 2009) after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 7, 1958 in Monticello, IN she has been a resident of East Hartford for the past 24 years. Joanne has been employed as a Bank Teller for 30 years at Sovereign Bank in Glastonbury and their former affiliated banks. Joanne was an active and faithful communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, East Hartford where she volunteered at Bingo and other church ministries. However, Joanne will be most remembered for her 'contagious' smile, watching HGTV, and being a proud mother who was active in her two sons lives, which included her many hours of volunteering at their schools and sporting events. Along with her beloved husband, Bill, Joanne is survived by her two devoted sons, Jeffrey A. Daley of Chicago, IL, and Christopher J. Daley of East Hartford; her father, Richard F. Dehler of Orlando, FL; her mother, Rosemary (Sears) Dehler of Winter Park, FL; her mother-in-law, Joan (Gavello) Daley of East Hartford; three brothers, William Dehler of Oak Hills, CA, Richard Dehler in Kazakhstan, James Dehler of Altamonte Springs, FL; two sisters, Cindy Singletary of Winter Park, FL, Kathy Dehler in Michigan; a special aunt and uncle, Carol and Chris Sears of Southwick, MA; two special cousins, Lisa Tucker and her husband, Doug, of Suffield, Brandy Feldmeier and her husband, Michael, of South Windsor; a dear sister-in-law, Mary LeBlanc and her husband, Eric, of Rocky Hill; a brother-in-law, Michael Daley of East Hartford; many nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 12, at 9 a.m. from the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Road, East Hartford. Burial will be at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
