

Joe graduated from East Hartford High School class of 1951 followed by St. Bonaventure University and the University Southern California Physical Therapy School. Joe had a physical therapy private practice for many years in East Hartford following a brief stint on active duty. He was attached to a station hospital unit as a commissioned officer in an Army Reserve unit for over 7 years.
Baseball was Joe’s lifelong passion. He played for East Hartford High School, St. Bonaventure University and the Greater Hartford Twilight Baseball League, and was a devoted fan of the Red Sox.
He leaves behind his wife Joan and 4 children; Kevin Feloney & his wife Mary of Centerville, MA; Karen Feloney of Sausalito, CA; Kimberly Feloney of Osterville, MA; Brian Feloney & his wife Sarah of Concord, MA with 2 grandchildren Hannah & Maya; He leaves a sister, Mary Feloney of New Canaan, CT
A Catholic Mass will be held for Joe on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. James Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 896 Main Street, Manchester followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Hartford. There are no calling hours. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe’s name to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
