June (Richardson) Brown, 74, of East Hartford, beloved wife of Kenneth Brown passed away Sunday, (May 6, 2007). She was born January 11, 1933 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Samuel and Jeanette (Gignac) Richardson. June enjoyed knitting and donated her knitted items to many charities. Including Kenneth, her husband of 55 years, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Kim and Bill Shuckerow of Lebanon, two sisters; Jeanette Richards and her husband Gordon of Weymouth, MA and Fay Menchel and her husband Seymour of Newington. June is also survived by her grandchildren Kenneth, Jared, and Wyatt Shuckerow. Funeral services will leave Friday, May 11th at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, Cambridge Dr., East Hartford. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
