Karon T. Ganatchian, 71, of East Hartford, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Born on July 7, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Theresa (Scheuer) Krampitz.
In her free time, Karon enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets.
Karon is survived by her daughter, Lisa Horton and her husband Mathew, of East Hartford; her son, Matthew Ganatchian of East Hartford; and her brothers, Richard Krampitz and Frederick Krampitz Jr. She also leaves behind many cherished “furbaby” grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Along with her parents, Karon is predeceased by her sister Jean Turgeon and her brother Karl Krampitz.
