

Lucille Mary Bouchard, 85, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2017. Lucille was born on March 14, 1932 in Caribou, Maine and was the daughter of Denis J. and Agnes (Parady) Bouchard. Lucille worked for Royal and Underwood Typewriter, Stanadyne, and provided house cleaning services. Lucille was a true Elvis fan and a member of the French Club. She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching UCONN Women’s basketball, and had much love for her cats. Lucille was a kind woman who will be dearly missed by her sisters, Marcella Berube of Meriden, Germaine Ouellette and her husband Albert of Tolland, Veronica Martel of South Windsor and Joanne Bouchard of East Hartford. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, especially Tammy Carlson and her husband Brett and their children Bryce and Alexa who held a special place in her heart. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Gilbert Bouchard, Raymond Bouchard, Leon Bouchard, and her sisters Freda Deschenes and May Rita Corriveau. Lucille’s family and friends would like to thank the staff at Manchester Manor for their care and compassion.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 15th from 5-7 p.m. at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 16th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Road, East Hartford. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Memorial contributions in Lucille’s name can be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, 126 Monroe Turnpike, Trumbull, CT 06611.
