Nicholas Benjamin Krawiec, 35, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2024. He was born in Manchester, Connecticut on June 1, 1988 to Stephen H. Krawiec and Sandra J. Krawiec [Derrick]. He graduated from East Hartford High School and went on to work as a manager of a retail company for a number of years.
Nick’s passion for the outdoors was evident in the number of hours he spent fishing and kayaking around Connecticut. Nick enjoyed working on fixing machinery in his free time and was an avid gamer. Nick’s gentle demeanor and quiet presence allowed those who knew him to feel comfort in his company. Nick’s sense of humor came out around his siblings which often led to lots of laughter. He was a kind and caring son and a thoughtful brother and uncle.
Predeceased by his grandparent’s, Nick leaves a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Sandra Krawiec; his sister Danielle Siedsma and her husband Steven and their children Nolan and Everly, of Newington; his brother Matthew Krawiec and his long-term girlfriend Alicia Glick, of Manchester. Nick also leaves behind his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, coworkers and one beloved cat, Sabrina.
To honor Nick’s memory, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nick’s name may be made to the Protectors of Animals, 144 Main St. Unit O, East Hartford, CT 06118.
