Oscar M. Cale

Oscar M. Cale, 70, or East Hartford, husband of Anne M. Cale, peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Oscar was born in Batalha, Portugal, one of seven children to the late Francisco P. and Joaquina (Silva) Cale. Oscar was a heavy equipment operator, employed by Capital Restorations and Correia Excavators for many years, prior to his retiring in 2019. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was very proud of his Portuguese heritage. Along with his wife Anne, Oscar is survived by two sons, Jonathan Cale with his wife Joelle, in British Columbia, and Jeffrey Cale with his girlfriend Abi, in Massachusetts; four siblings, John Cale, Mimi Cale, Julia Pantaleao, and Lurdes Cale. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings, Joe and Francisco Cale, and Maria (Cale) Oliveira. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Cale family, Friday, November 18, 2022 at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at which time there will be words of remembrance by the family.
