Patricia Ann Begley

Patricia Ann Begley, 80, of East Hartford, loving wife of the late Richard Begley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Riverside Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, East Hartford. Born in Lynn, MA on November 3, 1935 she had been a resident of East Hartford for over 30 years. Pat was actively involved with the Democratic Party of East Hartford and was a member of the East Hartford Democratic Women’s Club, The Democratic First District of East Hartford, and the East Hartford Patriotic Commission. She was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1477, East Hartford. Pat will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and the community.

Pat is survived by a son, Eric Begley and his wife, Jana, of East Hartford; three cherished grandchildren, Tela Michaud of East Hartford with whom she made her home, Dean Ackerman of East Hartford, Daniel Caron of Florida; and one adored great-granddaughter. She also leaves one sister, Helena Deary of Manchester; three brothers, Wayne Nason and Michael Nason both of Maine, and Donnie Nason of Missouri; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Besides her beloved husband, Richard, Pat was predeceased by a daughter, Hillary Lombardo of East Hartford.

A memorial service celebrating Pat’s life will be Friday (November 20, 2015) at 10:30 am at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with Rev. James Nock officiating. Burial will be at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. There are no calling hours.
