

Robin “Robbie” O. (White) Lane, 56, of East Hartford, loving wife for over 39 years of James M. Lane, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her home with her caring family by her side. Born in Christian, KY on March 13, 1958, a daughter of the late Jerod S. and Audrey (Townsell) White, she had been a resident of East Hartford since 1964. Robbie was a graduate of East Hartford High School, Class of 1976 and of the Morse School of Business in Hartford. She was employed for 38 years by the Bank of America, most recently working in the Retirement Management Department. Robin was a talented craftswoman who enjoyed making various crafts and was presently in the process of developing her own line of Body & Bath natural products. She was an avid fan of the New York Giants and enjoyed visiting different wineries, cooking and baking, and entertaining family and friends. Most of all, Robin was a proud and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her time with all of her family.
Besides her beloved husband, Jim, Robin is survived by her four special children, Quincy S. Lane of East Hartford, Nichole Keeler and her husband, Ryan, of Caney, OK, Tiffany Lane of Bristol, Whitney Lane of East Hartford; and four adored grandchildren, Delaney, Riley, Ryan Jr., and Jaxon. She also leaves her three brothers, Bruce White of East Windsor, Brett White of Enfield, Duane White and his wife, Kathi, of East Hartford; her father-in-law, James F. Lane of South Windsor; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Funeral service will be Wednesday (November 12th) at 11 am at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday (November 11th) from 4-7 pm.
