Shirley Ann (King) Blair, 79, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Hartford on November 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (McQuirre) King, she had been a life-long resident of East Hartford. Shirley was a graduate of East Hartford High School, Class of 1955 and was a former communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, East Hartford. Shirley is survived by two sons, Paul Blair of Coventry, Joseph Blair and his wife, Karen, of Spring Hill, FL; three adored grandchildren, Jessica Marie Sommer, William Blair, and Daniel Blair; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline King of South Windsor, several nieces , nephews and dear friends. Private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
