

Albert Michel, 74 a native of El Paso was called to join his son, Albert Tejas and mother Anita in heaven on Monday May 14th. He was born November 15, 1937. He was retired and worked in the warehouse at Popular Dry Goods and Economy Warehouse. His hobbies were feeding the birds in his backyard, reading the newspaper and watching boxing matches. He is survived by his loving and caring of wife of 50 years, Ninfa Saucedo Michel, granddaughters Jennifer T. Michel and Caitlin E. Michel, great grandchildren, Jiancarlo Payan and Jeniaya Alvarez, two nieces he considered his grandchildren, Cassandra Aranda and Stephanie Taboada and several nephews and nieces. He loved traveling to see his son Tejas in Los Angeles, New York and Miami. Visitation will be held from 5-9p pm on Thursday, May 17th at FDA Martin Central Chapel with vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Guardian Angel Catholic Church on Friday, May 18th at 9am. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jennifer T. Michel, Cassandra Aranda, Stephanie Taboada, Richard Najera, Joe Fierro Jr., Albert Escovedo and Robert Najera Jr. Funeral Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central.
