Alfonso G. Frias

With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, we honor the memory of Alfonso G. Frias, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, faithful servant of God, and valued member of his community.

Alfonso lived a life rooted in faith, family, service, and dedication to others. A believer in Jesus Christ, he held firmly to his faith and now rests in the loving presence of our Lord and Savior. Though his passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is home with the Lord, where there is eternal peace.

Throughout his life, Alfonso made a meaningful difference in his community. He was a contributing member to the growth and success of La Fe Clinic, helping support its mission of serving others and improving the lives of those in need. His commitment to community service extended to his involvement with organizations such as the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the Knights of Columbus. Through these organizations, he demonstrated the importance of civic engagement, fellowship, and giving back to the community.

Beyond his accomplishments and community involvement, Alfonso will be remembered for the things that made him uniquely himself. He loved telling stories, sharing memories, and bringing people together through conversation and laughter. Whether gathered around a table with family and friends or enjoying a delicious seafood meal, he knew how to appreciate life’s simple pleasures. He also took pride in dressing well, and a good suit and tie were a signature part of his style. He carried himself with dignity and a sense of pride that those who knew him will always remember.

Above all, Alfonso cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Frias, whose life he shared in love and companionship; his sons, Alfonso, Rolando, and Luis Frias; and his daughters, Mary and Lourdes Frias. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren, who carry forward his legacy of faith, family, and love. His family was a lasting source of pride, and the memories, lessons, and values he shared will continue to live on through generations.

Alfonso’s life was a testament to the power of faith, the importance of serving others, and the enduring strength of family. His stories will continue to be told, his laughter will be remembered, and his example of commitment to his community will not be forgotten.

Though we grieve his passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We take comfort in knowing that this is not a final goodbye, but a temporary separation until we meet again in God’s heavenly kingdom.
