She is survived by her son Ernie Duron, daughter-in-law Veronica Duron, daughters Teodora Duron Winslow, Teresa Garcia and five grandchildren, Lori Ann Duron, Leslie Ann Cole, Erika Garcia, Cesar Garcia and David Garcia.
Alicia, homemaker, demonstrated a deep love in creating a nurturing home. Her work was guided by her faith and dedication to her family. Home projects, driving her children to band practice and donating crochet socks, caps and cardigans for newborns were tasks she enjoyed. Alicia was a PTA fundraiser volunteer for Clardy Elementary, taught Catechism classes at St. Ignatius Church and was a Cub Scout den leader. She supported the LULAC chapter of El Paso and was an avid reader.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. Mass celebrating Alicia's life will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 North Clark Drive, El Paso, Texas 79905, immediately followed by a procession to Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906.
