Andrea Muñoz Lopez

Andrea M. Lopez, 92, of El Paso, TX, passed away on October 30th 2020 after complications with Covid. She was born on February 3rd, 1928 to Andres and Esther Muñoz in Gary, Indiana. Andrea met Carmen Lopez, and they wed on July 23, 1945, going on to have 10 wonderful loving children that miss and love her deeply, Mary L. Delgado, Jesusita L. Concha, Jose Luis, Carmen Jr, Antonia L. Favela, Pedro, Miguel, Abraham, Heriberto and Carlos.

Andrea is preceded in death by her parents Andres and Esther Muñoz, her beloved husband of 66 years Carmen Lopez Sr, sisters Janie(Juanita), Maria, and two infant sisters, brothers Manuel and Natividad. She is survived by her 10 children, sisters Matilde Navarrete, Paula Alvarez and Ofelia Fierro and brother Lupe Muñoz.

Andrea was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother to 6 generations, she dedicated her life to taking care of her family, her home, pets and plants. She was a very caring, loving, and humble person. Her home was always open to anyone that needed her love and support. She was a faithful catholic servant of our Heavenly Father. She cared deeply for her loved ones and always provided love, strength, and support to all. Her bright smile lit up any room she walked into and her huge warm heart always had room for more love. She was a ray of sunshine with a kindhearted spirit whose passion was caring for others. She will forever be remembered for her tender loving soul.

A visitation and graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2020. Due to the ongoing situation, only the immediate family can be present during the ceremony.
