Art was a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1959. He received his certification as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician from Sacramento City College. Art joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged from Ft McGuire, New Jersey, on February 1965. Art was active in social and civic clubs and remained in the El Paso area throughout the remainder of his life. Art married Irene Chavez in 1971.
In passing, Art joins his wife Irene and leaves behind his brothers Angel J. Saucedo Jr., Robert J. Saucedo and sister Guadalupe S. Crook, many nieces and nephews and very good friends.
Visitation is from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 22nd at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd at 11:30 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 3729 Hueco Ave., Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 1PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the H.R. Moye Foundation, P.O. Box 370986, El Paso, Texas 79935. The H.R. Moye foundation supports Jefferson High School youth and is a 501c, EIN# 80-05-79971, organization.
