A viewing will be held from 4 to 7pm on July 13th at Martin Funeral Home (Central) located at 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas. Internment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park located at 4848 Alps, El Paso, Texas at 9am on July 14th.
Audrey was born in El Paso on August 15, 1933. She attended Austin High School and graduated with honors. She married Arthur Mowad in 1951 and remained married for 50 years until Arthur’s passing in 2001. Audrey was the proud mother of three sons: Arthur, Gary and Alan. She worked for State Farm Insurance for over 30 years and enjoyed helping others through life’s calamities and challenges. By all accounts, Audrey loved people and serving others. She loved to travel and visiting Hawaii, Europe and Alaska. She enjoyed taking cruises and trips with her family. She was very active in her garden club and loved gardening. Each year she produced many award winning roses. She also collected fossils and enjoyed panning for gold.
Audrey is survived by her sons Arthur Mowad (Marylou), Gary Mowad (Lou) and Alan Mowad (Ginger); grandchildren John Mowad, James Mowad and Megan Mowad and great grand-daughter Adelyn Mowad.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Arthur Mowad and Bud Bowman, her parents Harold and Marie Clark and her brother Robert Clark.
