She grew up in Morenci, Arizona and was the oldest of four daughters. While attending a wedding in El Paso she met the love of her life, our dad, and they were married soon after.
They raised four children together and were blessed in marriage for 73 years.
After raising their children, she loved working as a teacher's aide for the El Paso Public Schools. She was kind, loving, thoughtful and a devoted Catholic.
We were blessed with a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the heart and soul of our family and will be greatly missed.
Aurora was preceded in death by Victor and Concepcion Delgado (parents) and Josephine Aguallo and Lilly Barriga (sisters).
Survived by her husband Pete Minas, her sister Carol Paez and her four children, Michael Minas (Rosie), Nancy Rivera (Michael), Laurence Minas (Liz), and Carol J. Minas, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Minas, Laurence Minas, Vinson Minas, Victor Brinson, Tommy Torres and Carlos Montañez.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4805 Byron Street. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd.
