Beatrice B. Sewell

August 24, 1923 – February 1, 2015

On February 1, 2015, Beatrice B. Sewell entered the kingdom of heaven. She had an undying love and faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ and was humbly awaiting the glorious day when she could be with Him in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jack, and her daughters, Betty Jean Sewell and JoAnn Benortham. She is survived by her four children and spouses; Lee Sewell, Robert Sewell, Margie Smith and Lyndi Sandford. She is also blessed to have 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren. All those surviving will miss her, but have been truly privileged and touched by the best mother and grandmother; never to be forgotten and always to be loved. Beatrice was one of ten Sosa children, and was the last surviving sibling of her family.

A celebration of her life will be held through a rosary at Martin Funeral Home Central on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday as well from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A mass in her honor will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 12:15 pm, at St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial following at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
