Our mother, Bertha Leyva passed away January 25, 2018 surrounded by family. She was a stay at home mother to children, Yolanda, Martha, Robert, Roy and Patsy, but many called her “mom”. She was always home to greet us after school. As a centenarian, she cooked and did her own light housework. She was honored by her grandson Bobby with the Franklyn Mountain star lighting on her 100th birthday. Visitation Tuesday January 30, 2018, rosary at 6pm at Martin Funeral Home Central; service Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 12:45pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church; interment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
