Cathey Lou Hill-Holguin

Cathey Lou Hill-Holguin, age 60, of El Paso passed away June 21, 2017. She was born July 18, 1956 in Deming, NM to J.W. and Lillie Mae Hill. She spent the early part of her life growing up in Dell City, TX where she was active in school and the community. She attended Southwest Beauty College in El Paso and opened her own salon in Dell City for a short time. She spent the last 27 years happily employed by Premier Assets at the Cantera apartments, she loved her many friends among the employees and tenants of the property. They were her work “Family.”

Survivors include her husband of 14 years Edward “Eddie” Holguin of El Paso, four step children and their families:

Brother: Max and Dorinda Hill of Rockwall, TX

Sister: Annette and Paul Mattson of Bedford, TX

Nephews: J.W. “Joe” Hill III, Brady Hill, Cameron Snodgrass

Nieces: Rita Hill Gustin, Candace Snodgrass, Bronwyn Hill Dower.

Grandson: Ritchie Holguin

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Lillie Hill, and one brother J.W. II and one niece, Rebecca Hill Weems

The Family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Sunday, June 25,2017 at Dignity Evergreen East Funeral home in El Paso. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Monday at Evergreen Cemetery.
