Cecilia G. Camarillo

Cecilia G. Camarillo, 93, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017. Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Camarillo and her son Richard Camarillo. Mom enjoyed her garden of flowers and her award winning pecan trees, giving many pecans to friends and family members. Mom also loved and enjoyed cooking, telling stories of her childhood days, sewing, knitting, making ceramic figurines, playing bingo and playing the slot machines at the local casinos. She especially loved to take day trips to Ruidoso for lunch, sightseeing and entertainment. Cecilia is survived by her children Cecilia Ponce (Anthony Ponce Sr.), Olga Camarillo and Fred Camarillo; 3 grandchildren Anthony Ponce Jr., Charles Ponce and Deborah Quintana, 3 great grandchildren Anthony Ponce III, Meredith Ponce and Charlotte Quintana. Our mother will be dearly missed by her children and her many friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 13th from 5 pm to 9 pm at Martin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Avenue with Vigil beginning at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 14th at 11:45 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. Burial will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
