David L. Gill Jr.

On Tuesday, January 10, 2017, our beloved father David Gill Jr. was called by God to begin his eternal life. We find comfort knowing that he is with our Lord, his loving wife Celina and his parents. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Born at the Gill Ranch in Hudspeth County, Texas June 17, 1932, worked over 40 years for US Postal Service, he preceded in death by his parents Dave Gill Sr. and Virginia Legarreta Gill, his loving wife Celina S. Gill, sisters Virginia Gonzalez, Carlota Orozco, and brother Daniel L. Gill. He dedicated his life to his wife and children: sons David Gill III (Sylvia Gill), Robby Gill, Richard Gill (Andrea Gill) and daughters Mary Gill Torres (Ray Torres) and Nancy Gill and family friend Suki Carrejo. 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers: Ray Torres III, Richard Gill Jr., Nikki Gill, Andrew De La Rosa, Christopher Gill and Danny Hernandez. Thank you to all who have comforted and supported our family. Special thanks to all his caregivers who touched his life. God Bless Dad, he has joined the love of his life, Mom. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15 from 5:00 to 9:00pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Mass will be Monday, January 16 at 9:00am at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
