

Deloris J. Owens, 77, went home to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ with her family by her side, November 15, 2010. She was a longtime member of The Church at El Paso and a member of her ladies group the Nit-Wit’s. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Carl N. Owens and her parents and her sister, Alyce Gillis. She is survived by her loving daughters, Sheila Owens –Owens (Bill), Carolyn Owens Waugh (Mike), Karlene Owens Pratt (Greg), Joyce Owens Trevizo (Emilio), Tammy Owens Breiten (Boyd) and son, Carl “Buddy” Owens and his fiancé, Yvonne; 15 grandchildren, Amie LeRoque, Terri Cassidy, Mark Owens, Laurie Harris, Ann Hernandez, Jason Quintana, Clint Pratt, Craig Pratt, Greg Pratt, Jr., Kevin Pratt, , Ericka Barr, , , Tré Brewbaker, Adam Brewbaker, Marty Breiten, , Carlee Owens and 11 great-grandchildren, Emilie, Abbie, and Mollie LeRoque, Ashley and Kristina Landers , Lauren and Dalton Quintana, Ason Harris, Christian Hernandez, Paeton and Mavity Pratt. She is also survived by her sisters, Leslie Kestory and Rebecca Hall, brother-in-law, Jack Gillis and one remaining aunt, Virginia Owens Sisk and many nieces and nephews all from New Smyrna Beach, FL and Paster Wm. and Elsie Buck, Joann Chapman and the entire church family. Visitation will be 5 p.m to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 18th at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m., Friday, November 19th at The Church at El Paso, 3720 Buckner St. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mark Owens, Jason Quintana, Greg Pratt, Jr., Kevin Pratt, Tré Brewbaker, Adam Brewbaker and Marty Breiten.
